According to Internet Retailer, SitStay.com relaunched its web site last month on a stripped down version of IBM Websphere Commerce Server. The integration work was done by eGlobal Solutions, who integrated WCS into OrderMotion at a cost far less than the norm. Some platform features were disabled to make it more affordable.

The 11-person retailer has sales of less than $10 million per year, and will now pay hosting fees under $3,000 per month. The company says it saved itself a headcount for administering the old web site, which had been developed in-house.
